proposed a relationship with Israel, which was to be like a marriage
I will betroth thee unto me: - in
righteousness - in judgment - in lovingkindness - in mercies and in
faithfulness

likened the relationship between Christ and the Church to a marriage

talks about the Marriage Supper of the Lamb

God
invites each of us to establish such a relationship with Him, that we may be
worthy to be invited to this Supper or great Party

The
Bible indicates that there will be a group who will enter into this relationship
with the Lamb Spiritually, and also a group that will enter Physically
§
As
we enter this New Year let us think of the time ahead when a New World will be established, free of evil and sin, in which
all will be reconciled to God.
