Hymn 22:  Israel – God’s People

  • Under David and Solomon Israel was a United Kingdom, serving God 
  • After Solomon the Kingdom was divided into two Nations – Judah (two Tribes) faithful to David’s line and Israel (ten Tribes) who from then turned from God
  • Judah is represented by Jews in the World today, but Israel’s identity as a people has been lost
  • When Jesus Christ returns He will again establish a United Kingdom and rule over Israel as well as the whole World
  • Division comes from Satan, and when his power is cast out, God will truly reign over His People in accordance with the promises in Scripture.

  • Our Sacrifice to God includes an Ongoing Commitment to His Lifestyle
  • Do we truly want the things of God above – or just with - the things of this World?
  • We must ask God to take the evil out of us so our spirits can ultimately dwell within our bodies
  • As God’s Peculiar Israel People may our Resolution be to serve the Lord Willingly, Wholeheartedly and with Gladness
