Hymn
22: Israel – God’s People
- Under David and Solomon Israel was a United Kingdom, serving God
- After Solomon the Kingdom was divided into two Nations – Judah (two Tribes) faithful to David’s line and Israel (ten Tribes) who from then turned from God
- Judah is represented by Jews in the World today, but Israel’s identity as a people has been lost
- When Jesus Christ returns He will again establish a United Kingdom and rule over Israel as well as the whole World
- Division comes from Satan, and when his power is cast out, God will truly reign over His People in accordance with the promises in Scripture.Hymn 109: The One True KingDoxology
