Dividing the Land – What is our inheritance?

Bible Readings:                                                   

·       Joshua 14:1-15 - Caleb sees the promised land inherited
(45 years on)

·       Joshua 18:1-10 - Survey and divide the promised land

·       1 Peter 1:1-9, 13-16 - An inheritance for God’s holy elect

Hymn 30: A place for us in God’s many mansions

·        Life can be a long and difficult road but our faith can avoid a lot of heartache

·        God knows us and calls us to an inheritance… can we be his Holy Elect?

·        The Children of Israel are important to God both then and now… and they will inherit. Do we feel part of them?
