·     In the times of Paul there were only the Old Testament documents, as the “New Testament” had yet to be written

·     A lot of doctrinal instructions in the New Testament came from what was expected in the Old Testament

·     Many of Paul’s epistles such as 1 Timothy contain instructions about the doctrines that should apply to the Christian Church

·     Those who love God will seek to show their love by living a life in accordance with these principles, and by keeping His commandments

·     We believe we are in the times when we can hold the hope of His appearing as something that could be fulfilled within our lifetime.
